A UNESCO Chair in Human Rights, Democracy, Peace and Tolerance, has been established at the World Peace Centre of MAEER’s MIT World Peace University, Pune, India. An Agreement establishing the UNESCO Chair was signed in Paris on Tuesday, the it May 1998 between UNESCO, Paris, and World Peace Centre MAEER’s MIT, Pune, for the noble cause of World Peace.
